Comedy Emporium Remote School Workshops

Julian Canny is the entrepreneurial ringleader of the highly successful WA organisation The Comedy Emporium. He has developed and delivers specialised improv comedy training classes for youth to support personal growth, build confidence and have a laugh.

He has been nationally recognised for his work with young people and is a difficult man to pin down.

Julian and Tor Snyder - professional standup comedy coach from The Comedy Emporium - will be delivering the workshop to the Mount Margaret, Laverton and Menzies Community Schools from the 29th of November till the 1st of December.

The program aims to engage and connect with students while assisting them to develop and build self-esteem and problem-solving abilities.

Young people will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to their peers,  build social and emotional response skills through improv performance techniques and most importantly have a laugh.

The Comedy Emporium Youth Workshop is a highly engaging and innovating workshop that will be delivered across the Northern Eastern Goldfields to young people and is funded by AngloGold Ashanti Australia to support positive youth engagement, health & well-being.
