The Comedy Emporium have a large amount of performers through the programs it supports. Eventually we want all the artists within our programs to go on to bigger and better things and out grow even us. This workshops is aimed at teaching the basic skills to get started.
FREE for TCE performers (Performance currently engaged in one of our programs) - $10 for outside performers
So in order to do that we need to focus on the skills needed to to succeed as a independent artist. In this workshop we will cover the basics.
Julian Canny - TCE Ringleader and other staff will cover basics of the following in a workshop format.
- How to invoice
- ABN Registerstrations
- Public Liabitiy Insurance
- Establishing an auidence
- Personal Branding Basics
- Anything that might present its self in the workshop
- Where to find other training
This workshop is perfect for young artists or artists that are new to sector.
Future workshops will cover topics outside this.
This workshop is suitable for artists age 15 over.
